By now you should all know what we do here on The Unofficial SX Police Site.
Many people seem to be having difficulty with the following:-
1) This site is UNOFFICIAL....this means it's not the REAL 'Essex Police' Site
2) As such I am not the REAL Chief Constable!!!
3) Please feel free to bring along a sense of humour when visiting this site
4) Your participation/whinges/stories/comments/guestbook entries are essential to keep this site up and running.
5) We are not here to extract the urine out of Essex Police, in fact, far from it! This site will be fuelled mainly by you. If you like it, tell us. If you don't then tell us.
6) Please take this site as you will! The intention is for this to be a bit of an interactive stress reliever! Having anything to do with the Police is a seriously stressful occupation and if this site can relieve even a tiny part of that stress then that is a good thing.

Some helpful information to bear in mind......
It must be remembered at all times that Police Officers were once normal people just like you!...However after several weeks of intense training , then years of mixing with other Police Officers it can cause certain officers to display some or all of the following characteristics:-
1) A very strange, or sometimes complete lack of humour (Complete lack of humour sometimes found when dealing with officers from the traffic department!.)
2) A totally dry, although unique blend of sarcasm
3) The amazing ability to be 100% correct, 100% of the time
4) The equally amazing ability to make you believe that they are 100% correct even though it is plainly obvious that they do not know what the hell they are talking about! (Otherwise known in the trade as professional bull*****)
5) An inherited and ancient art of acquiring goods or services at a specially negotiated deal (Otherwise known in the trade as 'mumping')
